The participation to these events is on your own accord and risk.
“Kulturide” cannot be held responsible for any damage to yourself
and/or your bike/ ATV.
Solo ridding is a mandatory option. Participants should be familiarized
with soft-enduro riding.
For the Danube Delta event ATV riding is not possible due to naval transport problems.
Registration details
You can reserve your place at Kulturide events by paying 50% of the total amount no longer than 40 days before the start of the event. The rest of the amount will be paid when you arrive to Romania.
Depending on the location of the event, the places are limited. This will be announced in the events calendar.
If you paid the reservation fee and you’re forced to cancel it, you will receive the whole amount back, but no longer than 30 days prior to the event (minus the bank taxes). In between 30 and 15 days prior to the event, you will be able to get back only 60% of the reservation fee. If you change your mind in the 15 days remaining to the start of the event, sorry but you won’t be able to get your money back.
All the payments will be made using a Pay Pal account.
Only the persons who have a valid drivers license for motorcycle or ATV are accepted on tour. There are some events where ATV’s cannot be used for various reasons like naval transportation restrictions, narrow paths, etc. This information will also be announced in the event calendar.
For details you can reach us at contact@kulturide.com or at +40 745039338 and + 40 721851827
Routes
The difficulty of the routes will be easy or medium. We’ll be riding on unpaved roads, forest roads and paths, some water crossings will complete “the menu”. At the beginning of the event you will receive a map of the whole area. At the beginning of each day you’ll received a detailed map of the day’s route. For safety reasons, routes and schedule can be adjusted according to the weather conditions.
Motorcycle/ATV
To participate you need a valid motorcycle/ATV license. Since we are riding mostly on unpaved roads, forest roads and paths, the perfect bike for this event is an enduro or dual-sport one. The bikes/ ATVs that you intend to use in this event should be registered, in good running conditions and equipped with appropriate tyres suitable for surfaces like: mud, sand and gravel (for example: Continental TKC 80, Heidenau K60, Mitas E09, etc)
Although we’ll be riding on unpaved roads, forest roads and paths there will be a moment when we will intersect a section of A or B roads where we must respect the international traffic laws and any possible ticket you’ll get is not Kulturide responsibility.
Motorcycle & ATV rental
Due to the fact that distance can be an issue, bringing your own motorcycle/ ATV to this event might be tricky. We offer you the possibility to rent one from Romania.
There are various motorcycles available for rent (enduro/dual sport) for example Honda Transalp, Yamaha XT 600, BMW F650. There are also other models available upon request.
The price per day is 75 euro and it requires a warranty of 500 euro.
Of course we allow you to use your own motorcycle/ ATV but you should consider the trip to Romania as extra time (not included in the event calendar), when you’re registering to this event.
If you plan on coming with your own motorcycle/ ATV, please let us know with 30 days in advance.
Riding gear
Kulturide doesn’t provide any riding gear. The riding gear should be complete, including body armor and enduro boots. Although the routes aren’t going to be very difficult, the protections are a must. The areas we’re exploring are remote so the emergency medical intervention is rather difficult, so we should keep the trip as relaxed and fun as possible.
On the route you’ll benefit of first aid and technical assistance. Regarding the technical assistance, we cannot perform major repairs to the motorcycles/ ATVs on route, but we can help with a flat tyre or some minor mechanical interventions that can be done on the spot and with the tools we carry with us.
Recommendations
We recommend you have with you the following items: GPS, mobile phone, a lighter, pocketknife, flashlight and in case you bring your own motorcycle/ ATV please bring the vehicle’s toolkit. We recommend you to get medical insurance.
