The Concept

Adventure riding concept – “Romania. Off the beaten path”

Come ride with us and we’ll present you unique remote areas filled with cultural landmarks, ranging from a simple sculpted rock from forgotten times to a citadel lost in the vastness of the southern plains. The modern world has changed the life so much, that we tend to forget some of the traditions, habits and places. These remain petrified over time in their status quo. The best way to discover these is by motorcycle. We’re trying to combine two things that we love, the desire to discover new places and our passion for riding motorcycles.

It’s the road not the destination

Most of the time the quality of the roads taking you there is poor, or there are no roads, just paths. Hence the adventure of getting there. Beside the stunning beauty of  every place, you’ll get to experience the simple life in these places full of history, the local food specialties and warm hospitality.

The true non-globalized rural experience

Romania is amongst the few European countries that still has this type of community, the village. West European villages are more like small towns, they somehow lost their “charm”, the architecture is still there, but they lack something. And that something is a mix between architecture, habits and tradition, transcending time and space.

Adding the beauty of  the various landscapes to this cultural mix is just breathtaking. Romanian landscape has such a diversity, varying from the sandy beaches in South-East flanking the most beautiful delta in Europe, passing through vast plains in the South, crossing  the majestic peaks of the Carpathian mountains and arriving to the Transylvanian plateau.

From the forest through the sandy beaches

The events feature the crossing of the Danube Delta, including some sand riding on the Black Sea beaches and the only forest that grows out of sand in Europe. Future events will take us riding through the vast southern plains, hill ridding in the sub-Carpathian area and rocky mountain tracks. All the routes are using existing paths, forest roads, respecting the fragile uniqueness of nature.
